The BODYCAM 4 can be identified by its rear label with P/N: IP-BC-400 and its serial number containing xxxxB4xxxxx.

- Changed the default recording file length from 5min to 30min
- Changed the default NTP time sync server from “us.pool.ntp.org” to “time.cloudflare.com”
- Changed the two separate video files for Pre-Event and Event into one video file
- Updated low storage message so it does not appear once disk is full with Background Recording enabled
- Change LCD display text from “NFC” to “RFID” to make it more clear to customers
Fixed:
- Fixed LCD brightness bug where screen dimming is very dark when “Front LED” is disabled through config
- Fixed audible tones so that the 5 minute recording reminder sound is disabled when “Audible Tones” is disabled through config.
- Fixed bug with background recording overwrite caused by the camera name set by the user having a space in it
- Fixed bug where camera was not switching to the time zone set by the user.
Update Instructions
The BODYCAM 4 checks for new firmware each time it docks. If a new firmware update is available the camera will automatically download it and apply the update when it has completed its upload. The camera will display a firmware check icon in the upper left corner of the LCD to show the status of the updates:
- A circular arrow icon indicates that it is checking for updates.
- A circular arrow with a green check icon indicates the firmware was checked and it is current.
- A circular arrow with a blue download icon indicates the firmware is out of date and an update is being downloaded.
- A circular arrow with a yellow exclamation point icon indicates the firmware version could not be checked. Please ensure that the camera dock has an internet connection and https://firmware.provisionusa.com is accessible.
