PD-1600 Birdseye 360 DVR Firmware Version 3.8.1

How do I know which model I have? The model number on the top of unit is PD-1600. The serial number on the inside of the door contains yym360Dxxxx.

Update Instructions
Automated: Over the Air (OTA) via internet connection (4G or Wi-Fi connected units with firmware v3.8.01-20260226+)
- When the DVR powers on it will connect to the internet.
- Once connected, the DVR will report the serial number and current firmware version to the firmware site
- If a new version is available, the version information and download link will be sent to the DVR
- After the firmware downloads, the DVR will automatically update the next time the DVR boots up
Manual Update Methods
Method 1: through SD Card (preferred)
- Insert an SD card into the card slot on your PC
- Download the firmware from the link at the top of the page to the root directory on the SD card. Safely eject the SD card.
- Insert the SD card into the DVR and power on the DVR. After the DVR boots, the firmware update will begin. Do NOT power off the DVR during this time!
- The Birdseye DVR may reboot one (1) or two (2) times when applying the firmware update, depending on the update.
- After the firmware update completes, the DVR will reboot automatically with the new firmware.
Method 2: through the monitor with a USB memory stick
- Insert the USB memory stick into the the PC.
- Download the firmware from the link at the top of the page to the root directory of the USB memory stick. Safely eject the USB memory stick.
- Plug the USB memory stick into the Birdseye 360 DVR.
- Touch the bottom of the monitor screen and press the gear icon. Login to the Birdseye DVR (default password: doesitall).
- Touch the [Info] button. In the middle Upgrade section, select the file downloaded from above and press the [Upgrade] button. The firmware update will begin. Do NOT power off the DVR during this time!
- The Birdseye DVR may reboot one (1) or two (2) times when applying the firmware update, depending on the update.
- After the firmware update completes, the DVR will reboot automatically with the new firmware.
- Remove the USB memory stick and securely close the door.
